Zuno Cut

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Zuno Cut short drama application and related services.

Effective: July 22, 2026 Last updated: July 22, 2026

At a glance

Zuno Cut uses information to deliver short drama content, remember playback preferences, maintain service reliability, support optional account or purchase features, and—where applicable—measure or personalize advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Zuno Cut mobile application (the “App”), its short drama streaming features, and related services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”). In this policy, “Zuno Cut,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Services.

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the Services.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on the features you use, your device settings, your region, and the permissions you choose to grant.

Information you provide

  • Account and profile information: such as an email address, username, profile image, or sign-in identifier when account features are available and you choose to use them.
  • Support and feedback information: the content of messages, screenshots, diagnostic details, and other information you choose to provide when reporting a problem or sending feedback.
  • Transaction information: subscription status, product identifiers, purchase receipts, and transaction confirmation supplied by an app store or payment platform. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and network information: IP address, device model, operating system and App version, language, time zone, network type, mobile carrier, device or installation identifiers, and advertising identifiers where permitted.
  • Usage and playback information: dramas and episodes viewed, watch progress, searches, favorites, clicks, content interactions, session timestamps, feature usage, and referral or campaign information.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, loading times, playback failures, performance measurements, and security events used to maintain the Services.
  • Approximate location: a general location inferred from an IP address for content availability, language, fraud prevention, analytics, and advertising. We do not seek precise GPS location unless a specific feature clearly requests it and you grant operating-system permission.

Information stored on your device

The App may store playback history, watch progress, favorites, content caches, language, and other preferences locally on your device. Some of this information may be synchronized with our systems when account or cross-device features are enabled.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain short drama discovery and playback.
  • Remember watch progress, preferences, and selected language or subtitle settings.
  • Personalize content rankings, recommendations, and the overall viewing experience.
  • Authenticate users and manage optional accounts, subscriptions, and entitlements.
  • Process and validate transactions through the applicable app store or payment provider.
  • Measure usage, diagnose crashes and playback failures, and improve performance.
  • Protect users, enforce our terms, prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Provide customer support and respond to privacy requests.
  • Deliver, measure, or personalize advertising where applicable and legally permitted.
  • Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Infrastructure and technology providers that support hosting, content delivery, storage, security, diagnostics, communications, and customer support.
  • Analytics and advertising providers that help us understand use of the Services or deliver and measure advertisements, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
  • App stores and payment providers that process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and entitlement validation.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or address fraud and security threats.
  • Business transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • Other parties at your direction or when you otherwise consent to the disclosure.

We may also use and share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

6. Advertising and Analytics

The App may use third-party software development kits or similar technologies for analytics, crash reporting, attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising. These technologies may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, App activity, ad interactions, and diagnostic information.

Where required, personalized advertising or non-essential analytics will be used only after obtaining the appropriate consent. You can limit ad tracking through your device privacy settings and may reset or delete your advertising identifier using operating-system controls.

No sale for money: We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. Certain advertising disclosures may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under some privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may exercise an opt-out right through available in-App or device controls, or by submitting a request using the email address in Section 14.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security and business records, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Retention periods vary by data type and context. For example, account and subscription records may be kept while an account remains active and for an appropriate period afterward; diagnostic logs are generally retained for a shorter operational period; and information stored only on your device remains there until cleared by you, removed by the App, or deleted when the App is uninstalled.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to or a copy of your personal information.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, certain sharing, or certain profiling where applicable.
  • Appeal a decision concerning your privacy request where local law provides that right.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

You may also manage permissions, notifications, advertising identifiers, and other privacy controls through your device settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and data minimization practices.

No system or method of transmission is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should protect your device and account credentials against unauthorized access.

10. International Data Transfers

The Services may be operated using systems and providers located in countries other than your country of residence. As a result, information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

11. Children's Privacy

Zuno Cut is not directed to children under 13, or under a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child below the applicable minimum age without legally valid parental consent.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this section, please notify us using the email address in Section 14. We will review the report and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

12. Third-Party Content and Services

The Services may contain content, links, payment interfaces, advertisements, or integrations supplied by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to information processed independently by those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing information.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, technology, law, or our data practices. When we make changes, we will publish the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.

14. Contact Information
